Resources and Services for Your Landscaping Needs

Compliment the structureThe making of a great lawn is the very first practical consideration in a landscape. The gardener conceives the dominant and central feature, and then organizes the landscape around this feature. The dominant feature in most landscapes is the house.

To simply spread trees and bushes over the entire landscape defeats the purpose of the space: to make every part of the grounds lead to the house and to accentuate its beauty.

It is practicle and desirable to have a well-defined landscaping plan on paper to identify the location of leading features. These features are typically the house, out buildings, walkways, drive-ways, service areas, border planting, flower and vegetable gardens. It should not be expected that the landscaping plan can be followed in every detail, but it will serve as a general guide.

This site has been designed to lead the landscaper through the design of an organized Landscaping Plan and to provide relevent links to landscaping resources and services.

Also, I hope you will take the time to read through the landscaping articles, which are packed full of landscaping ideas and tips.

Thanks for visiting my site.
